The Da Vinci Drawing Activity is one I designed for an MYP Level 5 class. It is a process that lays the foundations for different drawing techniques, new ways of viewing and provides a pathway to academic drawing. Students enjoy learning new ways of picturing their world, often surprising themselves with their abilities.

 

This is a new task I designed in 2023 and I am keen to see where we will take it next year. I would like to apply it to printmaking, etching, lino cuts etc. I would also like students to apply the skills gained through these activities to create surrealist works.
