CAARP
The Child Adult Artist Response Project (CAARP) allows each Teacher Candidate from the MGSE to be paired with a child artist from a selected primary school. The artists created a work according to a theme and then made a work in response to the work their partner created.
For privacy reasons documentation of this project is limited.
Two workshops were held, one at the Primary School and one at MGSE where the artists were united and together with more child artists were able to explore their creativity.
The first workshop, Paper as Cite allowed the artists to develop mind maps in response to literal prompts and then from there to experiment with the given theme and make acrylic paintings on gessoed card.
